The Father of Hip-Hop Hospitalized

The Father of the genre of music we all know and love -- DJ Kool Herc -- is currently hospitalized. I'm not entirely sure of what his diagnosis is nor do I know the severity of his illness or injury; however, I'm just asking for all of us that love hip-hop to send up a few prayers for the big homie.

According to Kevin Nottingham, DJ Premier went on radio and stated that Kool Herc doesn't have health insurance and is asking the hip-hop community to donate for the cause. He's setting up a paypal account, but for right now you can mail any donations you may have to:
